Daily Special - Anything But Cards - More Altered Notebook

I was on roll yesterday. . .I decided to make a few more altered notebooks. See yesterday's post for the tutorial. I had a lot of fun making them. The first notebook is a regular steno book and I covered it with cardstock and scrapbook paper. The circular design was made out of chipboard which was decoupaged and decorated with paper daisies by Making Memories. I rubberstamped the background with Hero Arts Daisy rubber stamp. The sentiment is by Great Impressions. To decorate the notebook, I used scalloped scissors and three types of ribbons.



This notebook was created with the same process as that I demonstrated on my tutorial yesterday. The rubber stamp sentiment is by PSX. To create the piercing design, I used Stampin Up Crafter's Tool Kit (paper piercer). To top of the design, I added prima flowers and three types of ribbons.

When you have the chance, alter a few notebooks. It's not any more difficult than making a card. I decoupage the cover because decoupage is water resistant and helps preserve the cover from the elements (modge podge may be used as a substitute).
