More and More Scrappy Cards

Just a few more cards that I made today. I'm on the roll! It's liberating to use all these scrap stickers and chipboards that I have. I sometimes think I'll never, ever get it reduced.

I don't create scrapbook layouts as often as I should. . .maybe if I did, I probably would do a better job at reducing my scrap pile. I think that's the next step I need to make. . .you know, create scrapbook layouts and use all the left over stickers.

I like how this card turned out. It's simple but still happy looking. The scrapbook paper actually is a paper by DCWV that came from a Christmas pack.

Hey, let's all make it a goal to clean up our scraps, stickers, and such so we can start fresh!! Are you with me on this???

LOL!!

Card Details:

Stickers: Heidi Swapp chipboard
Paper: DCWV designer paper, red and white cardstock (white)
Accessories: Michael's ribbon, SU slit punch, SU red markers, Making Memories metal tag, Deja View brads

Here's another card I made using the layout below. Again, using scrap pieces. . .I used the metal tag from making memories and layered it with a chipboard flower. On my previous card using this layout, I used a prima flower.
Can you see the stitches? Well, it's a faux stitch using a rubber stamp by CTMH called "Simple Stitches. Initially I was going to use my sewing machine but I was too lazy to look for a thread to match my card.

Card Details:
Stickers: Heidi Swapp chipboard, Colorbok sentiment
Stamp: CTMH Simple Stitches
Papers: K&Co Designer paper, Pink and mint cardstock (unknown),
Accessories: Grosgrain ribbon, Darice rhinestones, Making Memories metal tag

  4. ok, am now inspired to create with my scraps... I hope I can finish the projects I am doing for my Angel gathering this weekend - then I'll be able to play with your sketches. Love all these cards you're creating. Yes, I can see the stitch on the last card.. I have that CTMH stamp set too!! Lovely - because you could've fooled me, it looks like you sewed. I have to keep playing with my machine, or it's going to collect dust again!!!

    Hugs,
    Jen
