Daily Special - Tutorial Day - Anything But Cards - Shadow Box Frame

Hey Everyone! It's great to be back. Don't forget to scroll down to the previous post to view pictures from my trip to San Francisco. Today's Daily Special is "Tutorial Day" and today's project is a "Shadow Box Frame".

I had bought a shadow box kit at JoAnns and only bought one. I wanted to make more of them but didn't want to spend the money to create the box so I decided to use a cardboard from a packing box. The original kit came with an already pre-made shadow box made out of heavy chipboard. Can you tell from the shadow boxes pictured which one is the box that was made from the kit and which one from the cardboard? I made these shadow boxes before I left for my trip but did not have a chance to finish off the tutorial.

Quite honestly, once covered with the designer paper, it doesn't matter what material is used, whether it's chipboard or cardboard. Anyway, I had a total blast making these shadow boxes. I need to make one for our cat China and our dog Dakota. I also created a shadow box on my Stampin Inspirations blog site using Stampin Up products. Be sure to check it out.

Anyway, be sure to check out the tutorial and tell me what you think. Send me a picture via email or comment on this post if you decide to create this project. I really would like to see your version of this project.
