Random Cards - Project Reduce Scraps

Good Evening Everyone! Just a few cards I made yesterday for the World Cardmaking Day. I didn't participate in any challenges that I had initially planned to do. My only goal was to continue reducing my scrap pile. I really, really want to reduce it.

Beth asked that I take a picture of my pile. I'll post it tomorrow and you'll see why I need to reduce my scrap pile.

Nothing much to this card. . .I know, you're saying "whoa, that's bright". LOL! I know it is. . .but I needed to rid of the striped paper. I also want to get rid of my "orange" cardstock. Honestly, I'm not sure I like this card because it's too bright. I do like the layout and the 3D flower but the colors I'm not too fond of.

Card Details:

Stamps: TAC
Ink: Prismacolor Markers
Paper: DCWV Textured Cardstock, DCWV Glitter Stack, SU Pink Passion, Only Orange
Accessories: SU Ticket Corner Punch, SU Spritzer Tool, Grosgrain Ribbon, Making Memories Button

Another card made using TAC stamps. I colored the image, cut it out and remounted it using foam tape. I added Stickles glitter to the flowers but it's not obvious in the picture.

Anyway. . .hope everyone had a wonderful World Cardmaking Day yesterday!!

Card Details:

Stamps: TAC, Studio G
Ink: Prismacolor Markers
Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, Light Blue (unknown), Autumn Leaves Designer Paper
Accessories: SU Crafter's Tool Kit, American Craft Elements Ribbon, Making Memories Eyelets, Stickles Glitter, SU Ticket Corner Punch

Still reducing scraps? I need to join in too (but I think I already said that--seriously, I need to though). What, the top card is too bright? Nahhh, I love bright. I really like how you stamped orange inside the pink edging; great contrast. Looking forward to seeing your pile of scraps.

Happy Card Making Day Maria!

I love orange and pink together...your card is great! I love the layout and the sketch is so cool!

The second card is really cute, I am so inspired by your sketches! Whenever I get a blockage, I come and look at your sketches. You know what Maria....brown and baby blue are really cool together...!
Take care and have a wonderful day Maria:)
