Happy Birthday Card

Hi there! Just a card I made this evening. Most of everything about this card came from my scrap pile meaning it came from an opened packaged of stickers, cut up cardstock, cut up designer paper, strips of ribbon in my scrap jar, etc. The only thing that is not from my scrap pile is the purple ribbon. Oh, the brads are not scraps either.

Do you have a scrap jar of ribbons? I put every cut up ribbon in that jar if it's more than an inch long. Sometimes the ribbon can be at least 6 inches long but cut up from it's base then I'll put it in the jar. I found the ribbons in my scrap jar and it matched my card design so I used them.

I don't typically like to stamp any parts of cards or projects that I post on this blog site because I'm trying to keep all my stamping projects on Stampin Inspirations. There's a little of stamping to this card because after searching through my scrap pile, I could not find a birthday sentiment and I did not want to open a new pack of stickers.

Did you know that I've had these candle stickers for over 3 years. It was an opened pack with only the candles left in the pack that I kept and never used. I'm glad I finally used the stickers! Yay! One down, 100 to go! LOL!!

Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful Friday!!

Stickers: K& Co Birthday
Stamps: SU So Many Scallops
Ink: SU Blue Bayou, Sakura Souffle Pen
Accessories: Organdy ribbon, Making Memories Ribbon, Fiskar Cloud scissors, DCWV Luxury paper, SU Orchid Opulance, Blue Bayou, JoAnn brads

I luv it Maria...it's so darn cute!
That's so funny, I was just thinking of saving a jar just to put my scrap ribbon in yesterday. Right now I put them in a little tiny drawer that I keep on my table and it's kind of getting full with all the leftover stuff that I'm making right now.
