Daily Special - Featured Stamp - My Favorite Things
I wasn't going to post today but decided to do it anyway. I did get to clean up the garage a little. . .it has a long, long way to go but at least I've started. Our garage is a mess right now but I'm determined to straighten it out.
I've been feeling a little burnt out with blogging so I think I'm going to slow down a bit. I've been posting sketches, tutorials, card creations and projects practically daily and it's become like a chore rather than being fun.
I'll post sketches from time to time. . .not on every card like I normally do. I've posted over 200 different sketches on both of my blog sites but I'm not sure if it's useful. I know a few have emailed me or commented that they find my sketches useful and actually use them for their creations and I'm glad that someone actually are inspired to use any of them. If you are stumped for a layout, scroll back on both my blog sites . . .you should be able to find a lot of sketches that you can use. Like I said, I posted over 200 sketches since I started posting sketches in January.
The featured stamp for the day is "My Favorite Things'. . .I love the "girlfriend" type of stamps they carry and I bought 4 sets of them. These cards were created using the "Let's Go For a Walk" set. If you are interested in taking a look at their stamps. . .Click Here. They carry only clear stamps so if you are not a big fan of clear stamps, then you won't like the stamps they carry, obviously. . .
The circle sentiment is by Autumn Leaves Circle Sentiments set. The ribbon is by American Craft Elements and the color combo is Chocolate chip, Rose Red, and Blue Caribbean. I colored the images using Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.
With the second card, all of the stamped images are from the "Let's Go For A Walk" set. The color combo is I believe Pink Passion?, Chocolate Chip and Ballet Blue. The DP is from DCWV. I, again colored the image using Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The corner punch is from Stampin Up. I'm not sure which one. I need to look it up and I don't have my book nearby.
Until later. . ,

Oh, Maria, I'm so sorry you feel under-appreciated. I LOVE your sketches! I LOVE your creations! I visit this blog every day!
I understand that you put a tremendous amount of work and effort into your blog-it shows! So I understand that you need to slow down a bit...when a hobby becomes a chore, than it is no longer fun.
Your sketches have been a huge inspiration for me.

Pat's Card
I know exactly how you feel. I've been feeling like that lately. It's SO much work, and the comments are a joy (of course we're thankful for our readers) but it gets to be a chore to keep up. It's too funny, because I just did one of your sketches for the first time today (I have never followed a sketch of anyone's) I knew I wanted yours to be the first one. :0) You have enough to keep us busy for years! Drooling at colouring like on these dogs as well as your sketches. Hope your mojo is back in full force. You completely deserve a break! You'll be missed awfully, but you can come back refreshed. :0)
