Daily Special - Featured Stamp - Scraptrends Stamp

Today's Daily Special is "Featured Stamp" again. I bought a bunch of clear stamps and I HAVE to use them. It's ridiculous to buy stuff and not use them and I have a bad, bad habit of doing this. I can't emphasize how bad a habit it is.

Sorry for the whiny post yesterday but I've been feeling sort of in a funk for the past few weeks. Am I alone in this? I wonder if I'm just a moody person. . .:)

Anyway, back to the featured stamp. I bought this stamp set by "Scraptrends" because it was on sale for $4.00 at JoAnn. I thought wow "cool"!!

Well, I don't really like this brand of clear stamps. . .not the design because the design is really cute but it doesn't cling very well to the acrylic block, therefore, sometimes right before you stamp, it falls off. . .very annoying!

The image stamps pretty clear which sometimes is a problem with clear stamps. I heard if you use a regular pencil eraser and rub the rubber a little, the image grabs the ink better so you don't end up with a splotchy image.

Well I had a good start with this card. . .all went well and to top the card off I added glitter. After a few hours sitting on my desk to dry, I thought the glitter was completely dry so I picked it up and realized that it wasn't. Considering the moody state I'm in, I decided "heck, forget it" so I decided not to fix it. As you can see on one of the flowers, the glitter is sort of messed up. Oh, well! I do love the paper though. The DP is by K&Co, the metal charm is by Making Memories, the scallop edge was cut by the Fiskar "Cloud" scissors.

As for my funky mood. . .don't worry it'll soon disappear and I'll be back to my old self.

Hope y'all have a wonderful day!!
