Another Fall Thank You Card

Hello Everyone!! Gosh, time is flying by so quickly. I can't believe it's almost the weekend again. Just another Fall card. I really like this DP. . .it can be for any occasion. It has a pretty pattern.

I decided to play with a little considering I bought a lot them when they were on sale. Again, I have issues. Sale. . .don't even say that word to me. I will spend every bit of play money I have if you even mention a sale. I won't buy just one or two of the sale item, I'll buy 10 of them. Like yeah! How many lace do you need, Maria?

Fortunately, it works out really well with this card because the lace has a "scallop" look to it so it matches the scallop cut of the DP.

Do you see the button? Well, how can you miss it. . .it's so darn big! LOL! I bought a bag of buttons at a garage sale and all of them were still in their packages. Whoohoo! It was a steal.

Anyway, just having fun with the DP and the fall colors!!

Hope y'all are having a wonderful day!!

Card Details:

Stamp: Heidi Grace Clear Stamps
Paper: Deja View, SU Creamy Caramel, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Prima Flowers, Button (unknown), Organdy ribbon, SU Key Tag Punch

More Cards for Angel's Blog Candy/Challenge

Good Morning, Folks. I've been diligently working on Angel's Sketch Challenges for her blog candy and here are a few cards I made last night. I made a few more cards using Angel's sketches posted on Stampin Inspirations so be sure to check it out.

This card is for Sketch #22: Click Here for the sketch.

This is a Thanksgiving card with a little pink. Why not? Pink goes nicely with Thanksgiving. . .well, I think so.

I'm not going to include the card recipe for these cards because I simply don't have the time today. Busy, busy, busy. . .

Here is a card I made using Sketch #23: Click here for the sketch.

The flowers were cut out from a designer paper. I thought the flowers were pretty. I added a little bit of Stickles glitter to add a little bling to them.

Here's the 3rd card I created. . .no stamping on this one at all! Whoohoo! I wanted to create fall/autumn card in traditional colors mixed with non-traditional. What do you think of the purple mix? I think it's different but the card still have the essence of fall.

This card sketch is using Angel's sketch #24: Click here to view the sketch . There's 8 more days to her challenge/blog candy so be sure to drop by her blog site and try it out!

Cards For Angel's Challenge/Blog Candy

Hey Everyone. I made two cards for Angel's Challenge/Blog Candy. Like I said on my previous post, Angel is giving out a huge prize so be sure to drop by her blog site and check out the challenge. If interested. . .click here for the rules. This card is day 5 sketch. Click Here for the sketch.

I made this card using my CB Leaves die again for the primary image. I did do a little bit of stamping because initially, I was going to post this card on Stampin Inspirations. When I was looking for a focal image, I decided to use the die-cut leaves as my primary focal point so this card ended up being posted here on Card Inspired.

You can't tell by the picture but the stamped background is shimmery because I applied Pearl Ex to the stamped images.

Card Details:

Stamps: SU Grand Cornucopia, Happy Fall Y'all
Paper: SU Really Rust, More Mustard, DCWV Fall Stack

Ink: Versamark, Basic Black, Glitter Gel Pen
Accessories: CB Leaves Die-cut, Grosgrain ribbon, Making Memories colored staples, Fiskar "Cloud" scissors

Here's another card I submitted for Angel of Angelosity's challenge/blog candy. Click here for the sketch. This sketch is for Day 2.

I created the card with a horizontal orientation but I did follow the sketch. Following other people's sketch is really fun. I should do it more often. Did you know that I have never followed my own sketches. . .like I've said in the past, I create my sketches after I create the card.

I think I'm going to create two cards for each post; one is to follow a past sketch that I created and follow another person's sketch from either a blog or SCS. Sounds like a plan. . .

Card Details:

Stamp: Inkadinkado
Paper: DCWV Textured Cardstock, SU Pretty in Pink, Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: 1" and 1 1/4" punch, Colorbok ribbons, Fiskar "scallop" scissors

Random Card - Fall Card

Hey Gang. Here's a fall card I made this morning. I really need to get crackin' on the Halloween and Fall cards. I started off really well then I went south and started making other cards. I need to bring me back to my "center" and focus, focus, focus.

How ya' all doing with your Halloween and Fall cards? Hope better than I am. You can't tell but the background of this card is slightly shimmery because I embossed the whole background as well as the leaves.

I stamped the images using Kaleidacolor ink pad (spectrum multi-color), used the SU Spritzer tool and spritz speckles, inked the whole thing with Versamark then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I did the same thing witht he leaves.

I must celebrate the fact that I did not use any designer paper on my card! Whoohoo! I actually created my own background which I rarely do because I'm one lazy stamper.

Card Details:

Stamp sets: Stampendous Summer Leaves, Fiskars Thank You
Ink: Kaleidacolor Autumn Ink pad, SU True Thyme
Paper: Glossy White cardstock, SU Really Rust, Beige (unknown)

Accessories: Paper Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder, JoAnn Brads

Daily Special - Project Reduce Scrap - #3 Fall Cards

Good Evening! Well here's two Fall cards I made again utilizing scrap papers and cardstocks. The card base is the only item that isn't a scrap item.

I'm having a lot of fun reducing my scrap pile. It's going to get harder when the cardstocks and designer papers become smaller and smaller. I'm going to have to get creative when that starts to happen.

Anyway. . .to create the speckled background, I used the SU Spritzer tool using SU markers in fall colors. I also smudged the edge using a sponge dauber and ink. I used the Kaleidacolor Autumn dye ink to create the spectrum type of coloring to the leaves. This was a really fun card to make. I'm really digging the fall colors.

Card Details:

Stamps: Printworks Thanksgiving BlessingsInk: Kaleidacolor Autumn, Copper Leaf Pen, SU MarkersPaper: SU Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Forrest Green (unknown brand), DCWV Fall Stack
Accesories: Organdy Ribbon, SU Ticket Corner Punch, JoAnn Brads

Here's the other fall card I made using scrap designer paper and cardstock. Again only the card base is not a "scrap" item.

I created the speckles on the card base and the background image using the SU Spritzer Tool using various fall colors. The Kaleidocolor dye ink is a great ink pad to create multi-colored images.

I'm currently creating a mini album using my scrap designer papers. I'm going to do a tutorial on it. It's really easy and probably don't need instructions because it's that simple but for those who like to look at tutorials and want exact measurements, I'll post one for you folks. I'll probably finish up creating the tutorial tomorrow and post it sometime during the day if I have the chance to do so.

Goodnight, folks.
