Daily Special - Anything But Cards - Coordinating Gift Set
I have a stamping friend that is going through a tough time in her life and I thought giving her something "happy" may cheer her up a little. To the right is a pocket/tag card that was made in the horizontal orientation rather than vertical. I also made a coordinating Post-It Note holder and decorated a candle jar with the same paper.
The designer paper is by Colorbok, the sentiment stickers are by K&Co, the stamped sentiment on the tag is by SU "In My Thoughts", the cardstock is by Stampin Up Wild Wasabi, the Prima Flowers are by Forever Flowers.
This is the pocket/tag card with the tag out of its pocket. I made it to coordinate with the outside. I used a Sizzix die to cut the tag.
This is a candle inside a jar. I just Modge-Podged the designer paper on to the jar and added a ribbon and a metal alphabet embellishment by Making Memories. The "K" is my stamping friend's first initial. I wanted to personalize it a little.
This is a post-it note holder made using a thin chipboard. I Modge-Podged it with the designer paper and added another layer of Modge-Podge over the paper. If you don't Modge-Podge over the paper, eventually the paper will rip from wear and tear especially in this case because the Post-it Note holder is refillable.

What a darling set, Maria. The colours and those flowers. Wow! I'm in a swap where I have to make a pocket card like you did. Can you either place a tutorial on it, or send me to where I can find instructions.
Hugs,
Beth
