Cuttlebug

I'm thinking of getting a Cuttlebug. . .it appears to be the craze right now but I don't want to get sucked into this current fad. The problem is the cost and the need to buy embossing folders - each costing $4.99. . .then, in order to have diversity in my designs, like stamps, I would have to buy more of them. Crafters can be such suckers for new gadgets.

I already have two die-cutters. . .I'm not sure I need another one. I did buy an embossing folder to use a test . I'm going to test it out if if it's possible to use it on my zig cutter or accucut. I believe I can modify the accucut to accomodate the embossing folder. I know I could use it on my Zip e-mate because it has an alternate accessory to use for embossing. If it works then I don't need the machine!. We'll see. . .

I'll try it out tomorrow and I'll post a card using the embossed image. We'll see how it goes!

***Update!!

It works! The embossing folder works with my Zip e-mate and I was thinking of selling it because I rarely used it. Now I don't have to buy a Cuttlebug machine! The Cuttlebug at Joanns at regular price is $89, with the coupon about $54!! I'm so glad I don't have to buy a machine. All I need to do is buy the embossing folders. Fabulous!!
